BOY GEORGE BOWIE CLONE

I was there to meet Bowie at Victoria station in May 1976 when he came back from his exile in Berlin and gave the shocking fascist salute.  I had my head stuck through the barriers,  screaming.  I looked pathetic next to all the brilliant Bowie clones with dyed hair and make-up.  I made up for it by singing every word to every song as loud as I could.  I made Tracie whistle and scream in between songs.  I thought maybe Bowie would look up and see us.
