					FAT TONY by  SUE TILLEY
			Sometimes there was a talent night for various alternative cabaret acts.  one week it was won by ´Fat Tony´,  a rather plump and very confident fifteen-year-old.  he started a drag act called the ´Diana Dogg Show´ which involved him and his cohorts miming on a certain theme to old pop records.  As he did not want to be fattest person in the show he coerced me into joining in and we soon became regular performers. He worked hard to make the shows entertaining and for the  grand sum of ten pounds each  ( if we were lucky ) we entertained the cheering crowds with The Indian Show,  The Sixties Show,  The Hawaiian Show and the marvellous Disco Show which featured Princess Julia and I body popping wearing dresses made out of shower curtain material and pill-box hats made from Rank Xerox Boxes.
